This is a way to support children with holding themselves self-accountable on their school work. It starts with them setting the cadence of the work and then coloring in the activity when it is completed. For children that are in the younger grades, this would be a joint parent-child activity. Fourth and fifth graders might just need a little coaching on getting the schedule set and then be okay with self-maintaining. Give it a try? Will you please let me know how it works?
